SUPERSTITIONS IN SPORTS

Athletes are often known (0) FOR their quirky pre-game rituals and superstitions. Many believe (1) routines can help them perform better. For example, some athletes wear a lucky item of clothing to add a safety net in (2) things go wrong during the game. They may blame it (3) luck if they miss a critical shot or make a costly mistake.
